The Enchantress is a fictional character from the Marvel Universe, created by the writer Bob Haney and artist Howard Purcell. The Enchantress appeared in two eight page stories in Strange Adventures # 187 (April 1966) & #191 (August 1996) She is a sorceress who works for Loki and seeks revenge against the Avengers for Baron Heinrich Zemo’s betrayal.

The Enchantress, along with Ragman and Blue Devil, is a superhero in the Shadowpact team. Her powers include teleportation (inter-dimensional travel), transmutation (time travel), instantaneous death, sound muting and the ability of causing pain without physical harm. She can also take on the form of an owl, a wolf, or a bear.
